Berkeley, California – September 9, 2013 – KMI has officially launched an Indiegogo campaign for its newest product— QuNeo Rogue, an integrated wireless connectivity and long lasting battery power accessory for KMI’s QuNeo pad controller. Giving artists unprecedented freedom, now anyone with a QuNeo can use Rogue to get out from behind their gear and into the spotlight.
What is Rogue?
Rogue is an accessory for the QuNeo that supplies long lasting battery power and an incredibly robust wireless connection to a computer.
Rogue attaches quickly and easily to the bottom of your QuNeo with low-profile velcro.
Battery life for Rogue exceeds 12 hours (in time-trials we saw it function over 16 hours).
Rogue uses advanced radio technology with a 2.45GHz ISM (Industrial, Scientific and Medical) band.
With easily changed hi-gain antennas attached to the USB dongle, wireless range can be tailored to your needs from 50 to 200 meters.
LEDs on the Rogue indicate RF link status, battery life and charging activity for instant visual feedback.
QuNeo’s intelligent LED display is fully programmable and data-rich; you will rarely have to look at your computer screen.
Artists say…
“The idea of having a really sophisticated controller that’s completely wireless would really open up a lot of opportunities that currently don’t exist.”
– Dan Deacon (yes, that Dan Deacon!)“I love this controller; it’s absolutely amazing. They’re going to make my favorite controller even better- by making it wireless!”
– Thavius Beck (Producer/Artist, Dubspot Instructor, Ableton Certified Trainer)“KMI told me about the Rogue and my brain started flipping out a little bit.”
– Jack Conte (Pomplemoose, Patreon) (built a QuNeo playing robot!)
