The Keith McMillen SoftStep MIDI/USB Multi-Touch Foot Controller gives you the ability to harness that functionality to streamline your productivity and inspire your creativity - in ways you might not have yet imagined.

SoftStep is a USB bus powered controller whose functionality comes to life when using the SoftStep application on your computer. Out of the box I was able to arm tracks and control the transport in Pro Tools from my feet. With loop-centric applications like Live the hands free operation opens up endless possibilities. The ten control pads feature writable presets that can respond to five ranges of motion, each of which can be mapped to a different function. Presets are saved in scenes which in turn can be saved into set lists. The SoftStep application also features a stand alone mode for programming the controller to operate sans computer via the optional SoftStep MIDI Expander.
